C Language

C is a well-known general-purpose programming language that is simple to learn and use. It is a machine-independent structured programming language widely used to create various applications, operating systems such as Windows, and many other complex programs such as Oracle database, Git, Python interpreter, and others.

It is said that ‘C’ is a programming language for gods. Therefore, C can be thought of as a foundation for programming. If you know ‘C,’ you can quickly learn the other programming languages that use the ‘C’ concept.

C++ Language

C++ is a cross-platform language for developing high-performance applications. Bjarne Stroustrup created C++ as an extension to the C language. C++ provides programmers with extensive control over system resources and memory.

C++ is one of the most commonly used programming languages in the world. Today, C++ is used in operating systems, graphical user interfaces, and embedded systems. C++ is an object-oriented programming language that provides programs with a clear structure and allows code to be reused, lowering development costs.

Java Language

Java is a well-known programming language that was developed in 1995. Oracle owns it, and over 3 billion devices use Java.

Java is a general-purpose, class-based, object-oriented programming language with low implementation dependencies. Java is quick, secure, and dependable. It is widely used for Java application development in laptops, game consoles, scientific supercomputers, cell phones, and other devices.

It serves the following purposes:

  • Database connection
  • Mobile applications
  • Web servers and application servers
  • Web applications
  • Desktop applications
  • Games

Java Script Language

JavaScript (JS language) is a programming or scripting language that permits to implement of complex features on web pages whenever a web page does more than display static information for you to look at, such as displaying timely content updates, interactive maps, animated 2D/3D graphics, scrolling video jukeboxes.

JavaScript is most likely involved. It is the 3rd layer of the layer cake of standard web technologies, the first two (HTML and CSS) have been covered in much greater depth elsewhere in the Learning Area.

Python

Python is a widely used general-purpose programming language that has a broad range of uses. For example, high-level data structures, dynamic typing, dynamic binding, and many other features are equally useful for scripting or “glue code” that ties components together for developing complex applications.

Additionally, it can be enhanced to execute C or C++ code and make system calls to almost all operating systems. Python is a universal language used in many applications because of its ubiquity and capacity to run on nearly every system architecture.
